Mehdi Bennani is a production designer from Morocco, based in Los Angeles. He studied Architecture for his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Southern California, and later studied production design for his Master's degree at the American Film Institute.
Mehdi has always been interested in telling stories about minorities, social and racial injustice. He has worked on multiple BIPOC and diversity short films, some of which have been selected to screen in numerous festivals including Cannes. His thesis film In Wonderland has earned many awards and has screened in more than 15 festivals in the United States.
